Nevada's so called legal brothels are basically State licensed blackmail businesses. Once they have sufficient blackmail power over a community, the community voice is lost to mobsters. All Nevadans should be thankful to the Human Trafficking Project for exposing this insane HBO show.

If you want a great example of sex tourism industry intimidation, listen to Dennis Hof’s July 28 interview on KGO in San Francisco.

    http://www.kgoam810.com/Article.asp?id=812771&spid=23585

San Francisco is debating a referendum to stop making prostitution a crime. Dennis silenced all the San Francisco politicians who have visited his establishment with this:

" I wish I could tell you my customer base….But.. oh if I could tell you…. Oh my gosh! ..Lot of very prominent people in San Francisco. I hope they keep coming to see me."

Some of them must have passed out with fear that they would be "Spitzered"

Dennis did the same thing in Feb on WJFK in Washington DC

It is horrendous to know that this atrocity exists, in our own backyards. A silver lining in the battle to end this cruel activity occurred on December 10, 2008 when the US Congress unanimously reauthorized the US Anti Trafficking Bill. Please go to http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=110 cong bills&docid=f:h7311ih.txt.pdf to learn more. Also, to learn how to assist victims of human trafficking overcome and heal from the abuse they endured, please visit the Human Trafficking online course at the Zur Institute: http://www.zurinstitute.com/homeonline.html.

  4. Another frightening area where human trafficking is rampaging is the Internet. Sites like Craigslist are making human trafficking more accessible and more prevalent then ever.

Please check out this video created to show the proximity of human trafficking via the internet and solutions to this problem.

    Thank you.

  5. Hi,

Great to know about this website pertaining to Human Trafficking. We are in Singapore and our neighbourhood is currently affected by rampant street prostitution activities in the street and hotels (motels).

We are wondering if these street prostitution activities are human trafficking by United Nations definition ? Please see videos link below.

    Thank you.

Breaking News: Prominent Barbados community leader posts information on a public website that he knows the identities of young girls being trafficked from the USA into the Caribbean – and that he is aware of current trafficking into Jamaica.

Although the story received heavy coverage and discussion on the Bajan internet, the mainstream Bajan news media have not reported the incident even though the allegations are still posted online.

Certainly thousands in the Barbados online community are waiting to see if the Royal Barbados Police Force will launch an investigation or if the U.S. complaint of “minimal efforts” by Barbados to combat human trafficking will be proven true.

Jessy Koh. Just verifying that you don't have this backwards. Are you sure that these girls were trafficked from the USA "INTO" Barbados and Jamaica and not from the Caribbean into the US?

Hello all. Just getting started here. Trying to raise awareness to this major issue. It is something that definetely needs to be dealt with. Anyone with any suggestions on how or where I should begin. Since begining this journey I have found out that Joyce Meyer has an outreach Hand of Hope, which provides food and shelter for victims of this horrific crime against Humanity. I was just wandering if there are any Investigators Interviewing these survivors? Maybe then we could make it in to pick them apart from the inside. Just a thought!!!

Do you have suggestions for places/agencies to report potential trafficking situations outside the US?

How do people stop this modern-day slavery, when their own governments turn a blid eye and deaf ear toward it? Maybe all these sex/ work traffickers should have done to them what they're doing to others? Please, to anyone who reads this, contact your political leaders and tell them that enough is enough, that other people; men women and children cannot be abused in this way, anymore! Also, I can see why I hate soccer so much, and don't put it on the same level as American football. Thank you! Name and address with-held, in fear that I might be taken, sold, and sodomized (but I'll put up one hell of a mother fucking fight, I'll tell you!)

    Slavery in Peru.
I am an American living in PerĂº and I know that human trafficking is bad here, especially among the poor who often sell their own children into it. I have some close ties with very high government officials among other important rescources but I need to know where to start. Does anyone know a good anti-human trafficking organization in Peru that I could team up with?
    Thank you.
